Each year, InterSystems holds multiple global meetings that bring together our clients, partners, and industry experts in different regions. These meetings present and discuss new development trends and the company vision. These include Global Summits, UK&I Summits, Benelux Summits, etc.
I'm reasonably sure that a lot of you would've liked to be present at the Global Summit 2023 but for one reason or another, you couldn't be present. Here is a brief recount of what went on on 4th and 5th of June.

As you may know, I am the person who does the program and scheduling for our Global Summit sessions, so I can give you a sneak peek at our agenda before it is published.

Not all of the Community members can attend (me either!), so we decided to produce a cool VIDEO with Greetings fromOur Community Members 🎥 Let's join virtually this great event from all around the World!🌏

As before, each day started with the keynotes (which you should be able to watch tomorrow ). But unlike the keynotes on June, 21 the following day they were dedicated to Data Platform IRIS. As before, you can find the topics and the presenters in this announcement. Some of the notable speeches were delivered by Geoffrey Moore, Bestselling Author, Consultant, and Disruptive Technology Specialist
The time that many of the Developer Community members, InterSystems Partners, and just people interested in InterSystems products, had been looking forward to has arrived! Finally, after an excruciatingly long pause, this year's Global Summit is again held in person! This time it's in Seattle! A beautiful city with steep hills, breathtaking views of Elliot Bay, and, from the words of locals, constantly bad weather

This year at Global Summit we will have several members of the InterSystems internal applications team (AppServices) on site to present topics of interest to developers. There will be General Sessions that we teach on a number of topics related to tools we're launching to the OEX, knowledge gained based on migrating our Caché app portfolio to InterSystems IRIS, best practices for following OWASP Top 10 with ObjectScript, and a survey of the application landscape offering services to our customers and prospects.
