Hi everyone.

I have a function that may end up being called from a number of transformations at the same time, and within the function there's some Embedded SQL to first check if a local table has an entry, and then adds the entry if it doesn't exist.

To prevent a race condition where the function is called by two transformations and they both end up attempting to insert the same value, I'm looking to use the table hint "WITH TABLOCK" on the insert, but this seems to be failing the syntax checks within vscode.

Are table hints supported with embedded sql?

Cache ZEN Issues with MS Edge

Dear Fellow Cache Developers and Cache Experts,

The company I work for has a Cache Web Application that is built on the Cache ZEN framework. The application has run very well for almost 2 decades across many versions of MS Internet Explorer ranging from IE5 all the way through IE11.

I restore the “dirty” copy of the IRIS.DAT files, then apply the incremental backup as documented for Online Backup. As shown in the picture, restarting the service before mounting and rejoining the database to the mirror can restore the mirror database to the point in time of dirty data. I think the mount method used here is the default value, and I don't want it to perform mirrorcatchup. Is there any other way to recover the mirrored database to the point in time of dirty data？

Hello,

While doing research on the upgrade to InterSystems IRIS 2024.1.2 version, I was wondering if it would be possible to rollback the installation and return to the previous version in case something went wrong ?

I didn't see anything talking about this in the documentation and when I tried to re-install an older kit over an upgraded instance, I couldn't use it.

I encountered this quirk when investigating an unrelated issue affecting how Studio projects are handled in VS Code.

When you add the top level of the webapp to a %Studio.Project this inserts a %Studio.ProjectItem with a .DIR suffix. For example, if Studio or VS Code is connected to the USER namespace and you add the /csp/user webapp to a project the new ProjectItem name is "csp/user.DIR".

I have an HL7 message that contains NTE segment with line break inside.

when I try to transform it (with DTL) it stops reading the message after the line break inside the NTE because it treat that as "End of Message".

Is there a way to solve this in the DTL or I need to run a pre process on the HL7 message that identify the line break inside the NTE segments and replace it with an escape char?

I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out because I have encountered an issue with a new dimension I created, named "Region," and I could use your assistance in resolving it.

The problem is that when I open the cube analyzer, the "Region" dimension does not populate data as expected. Instead, it merely displays the text "sourceRegion," which I specified as an expression in the architect.

IRIS Dashboard/Deepsee Queries

Hi Everyone,

We are using SQL based KPI's to display reports in IRIS dashboards. We have applied the filter functionality in these SQL based KPI reports.

I need your help for below scenario.
