We wanted to use the MD5Hash function,

And had trouble understanding it's return value , as documented:

"Return value: 16-byte MD5 hash."

The value we wanted should have been a simple string, and we did not know how to convert the output to string.

We wonder what means the second step:

"Import the zpm.xml into IRIS and compile via any desired way (Management Portal, Studio or Terminal)"

We have thought that it means to place the zpm-0.2.2.xml file inside "C:\InterSystems\HealthShare_2\opt\contenedor"

I know there are numerous Java libraries available to scan a PDF meta data, but is there a way to scan a PDF using native cache object script? We are looking to take a PDF from an external vendor, scan for meta data, create the HL7 message, and embed the PDF within the HL7 message.

In the previous parts (1, 2) we talked about globals as trees. In this article, we will look at them as sparse arrays.

A sparse array - is a type of array where most values assume an identical value.

In practice, you will often see sparse arrays so huge that there is no point in occupying memory with identical elements. Therefore, it makes sense to organize sparse arrays in such a way that memory is not wasted on storing duplicate values.

In some programming languages, sparse arrays are part of the language - for example, in J, MATLAB. In other languages, there are special libraries that let you use them. For C++, those would be Eigen and the like.

It may be very easy but I'm currently battling with a stupid business operation.

Here is what I must do and what is already in place:

A business service scan every 5 sec the apparition of files and send it to a business process.

The business process (a routeur) don't let pass everything and a few of them go to a specific operation.

The operation must :

1 ) create the file with the same name of the original one (in the service) then save it.

The InterSystems IRIS can be extended using Java or .NET components and its frameworks inside Object Script source code.

Are you all ready for something you wish you knew ages ago (or, in my case, a DECADE ago)? Open up a portal in your favorite instance and go to:

System Administration->Configuration->Additional Settings->Startup

Cross-origin Resource Sharing (CORS) is one of the basic security features built into browsers. CORS controls accessing resources from a HTML page in domains other than the original domain. Over the Easter Weekend I touched on some deep learning classifier for Covid-19 Lungs. The demo result seems fine, seemingly matching some academic research publications around that time on this topic. But is it really "fine "?

I have a lookup table and record batch Table I would like to do a count on the records stored in that batch by counting the number of records in that batch that have a certain key on the responseKey column. This column keys are stored in the look up table for comparison. So I would like to do a join sql pivot that will use my keys stored in the lookup as columns and count as values

so far I have managed to do this but this is not efficient I would like to fire that sql once not on every count

What is the best way of importing new class files (.CLS) that Git has placed in my Atelier project folder?

I need to be able to do it from the command prompt as I want to script it.
